The Beatles did this painting on June 29 & 30, 1966, at the Tokyo Hilton
Hotel (Room 1005). Each of them did a section and autographed it in the
middle (where the lamp was standing). The finished painting was purchased by
Mr. Shimoyama (president of a Japanese Beatles Fanclub). After he died it
was sold at an auction for 15 million yen - the current whereabouts of the
picture are unknown. The photos were taken by Bob Whitaker (who also
photographed the »Butcher Cover«.
